​Initial meeting

​

Our initial meeting is obligation free.  It's an opportunity for us to establish if we choose to work together.

 

We will discuss your expectations; how you would like the ceremony to run, your venue, a bit about you both, your bridal party and guests.

 

If we decide to work together, you can secure your wedding date with a non-refundable deposit of NZ$250.00 and we will also sign an Agreement For Services at this time. The balance for my celebrant services is due seven days prior to the ceremony date.

 

After our initial meeting you will receive a comprehensive ceremony pack so we can start crafting your ceremony.  This pack guides you through the ceremony structure and process with various options and ideas to get you started. You can choose to write your own ceremony and vows or mix and match from all options provided.

From here, together, we continue to develop and refine your ceremony in the lead up to your wedding day. No two ceremonies are ever the same. Each couple is unique, as is your love story and your ceremony should reflect your uniqueness too.

The Rehearsal

 

It is a great idea to include all the key people who will be involved in your big day in a rehearsal. Ideally plan this as close to the ceremony date as possible.

 

The rehearsal gives everyone the opportunity to meet at the venue, to see the space, to learn how the ceremony will run, the order of events and who stands where and when. It is also the time to physically run through the event; the pace of walking down the aisle, the order of bridesmaids walking down the aisle, the volume for the music and to practice who does what on the day. 

 

The rehearsal gives everyone involved a degree of confidence so they can relax a little on the big day.

The Ceremony

 

Our preparation together will make your special day run smoothly.

 

The aim is to make it magical, meaningful and memorable for everyone attending and most importantly for you both.

 

Costs

 

The investment of my time will depend on several factors; how involved you want me to be, how many meetings you want to have with me, the location of the wedding venue, whether or not there are other costs to factor in e.g. travel, accommodation etc. 

 

At our initial meeting we will discuss these things and if we choose to work together I will give you a total cost for my time.
